We have recovered finally, from hurricane Ivan(2004) during which we sustained about 2 million in damages , and we’re praying that we never see that again on the Island. One parishioner was asking how the ‘hurricanes’ KNOW when June 1 arrives? We’ve had no rain for weeks and weeks, until THIS week, and the first hurricane started right on schedule! Reply Ebeth June 2, 2008 - 7:53 am Thanks, Jeff, This always gives me the creeps every year when June 1st rolls around living here on the coast of NC.
