Free Catholic eBooks

This page contains public domain Catholic books provided in various formats for reading on computers and ebook readers.

There are many resources available for public domain Catholic books Though many resources are plain text or low quality scanned OCR versions. Other resources provide nicely formatted html, though they do not always format correctly when reading on mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

To remedy this over the years I have been converting more and more of these resources into an ebook format that provides a full table of content along with correctly errors due to poor Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scanning. These ebooks than become readily searchable as well as being able to bookmark, highlight, and note.

  2. I’m trying to build up my library of Catholic epubs and have noticed the limitations you mentioned. I am finding myself wishing that there was a Catholic epubs that met minimum quality standards. Thanks for providing some of your work for us!
