Bill White posts some links to Romano Guardini’s "The Spirit of the Liturgy" Online in text and html. I have been meaning to read this classic, especially after previously reading then-Cardinal Ratzinger’s book of the same name and the esteem he had for Guardini’s book. I really enjoyed Guardini’s life of Christ book called The Lord

What is most interesting to me is that our dearly beloved liturgists, in addition to the support that they receive from their Bishops, from the USCCB and from Rome, also have their own organization, outside of the USCCB, at additional expense, no doubt, “The Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions (http://fdlc.org ), Representing Roman Catholic Diocesan Offices of Worship and Liturgical Commissions throughout the United States and supporting the liturgical apostolate.”
No wonder they are so powerful!
Check out their web page. They are up to mischief, I would bet.
What other diocesan officials and commissions might have their own regional or national organizations?
