One of the reasons I started to create an ebook of Pope Benedict’s writings and speeches was to get into and  tostay in the habit of reading everything from him as released weekly.  He is such a wonderful writer full of so many insights and you just never know when you will run into something cool – or blog worthy.

For example his speech to a group of French bishops on their ad Limina visit would be something that would totally go under the radar.

Knowing the care with which you prepare your liturgical celebrations, I encourage you to cultivate the art of celebrating, to help your priests in this regard and to work ceaselessly for the liturgical formation of seminarians and of the faithful. Respect for the established norms expresses love and fidelity for the faith of the Church, for the treasure of grace that she preserves and transmits; the beauty of celebrations, far more than innovations and subjective adjustments, makes evangelization a lasting and effective work.

Well at least it was of interest to me and I loved the way he talked about adherence to established norms as expressing love and fidelity for the faith of the Church.  The reverse seems to be true at times when it come to liturgical abuses.

There’s times when I honestly wonder how you guys and gals find the time to read and understand so much and I’m not kidding when I say that you could count on my fingers the amount of books that I’ve read during my 66 years and my wife has read hundreds and still loves reading.

I hear ya sinner vic! You’ve always got U>S your 92% gods Victor who can tell ya what is right and left, I mean right and wrong so you don’t need to read books any more!

Ya right sinner vic! What have ya told me lately?

I’ve told ya that ya just don’t listen to any “ONE” and “I’M” going to continue telling ya that just because you so called Christian manage to convince most humans that Christ belongs in Christmas is butt a starting place don’t ya understand that Victor?

Yes sinner vic butt we must start somewhere and why not with a good footing or are the rest of our 8% spiritual cells wrong in believing that Christ really did tell U>S all the truth?

Listen Victor! “I’M” going to tell ya “ONE” more time, there’s two parallel lines which some call heaven and earth, some call “IT” good and bad and then there are some who just say “Forget Bout “IT” cuz we don’t need to know. Anyway, “IT” has been tried in the past over and over again where some have tried to connect these two invisible lines with reality by placing connection time bridges every so many distance in time and believe “IT” or not, a LOT of humans dies trying. To be honest Victor, I honeslty thought that your so called GOD (Good Old Dad) had succeeded butt “IT” really was only only lost soul disguised as alien who teamed UP and have manage to take over your children……..Victor! Victor! Victor! Wake UP! Don’t ya understand what “I’M” trying to tell ya humans?

Sure “I” do sinner vic! What do ya think “I” do all day long? You’re talking about “The Railway that our ancestors created in reality pass which started a LOT of JOBs for many of U>S humans so if you”re so smart, where is our next frontier going to be NOW?

FOLKS! “i” GIVE UP! HE’S YOUR PROBLEM! :)

    WHO’S LAUGHING? :(

    Go Figure!
