May 12, 2007 - 4:01 am Well, women cannot be priests any more than men can be priestesses, as far as I’m concerned. Oops – oh, I’m sorry – I forgot that the use of feminized nouns is not PC. So sue me. Maybe I missed something, but I was under the impression that all of the apostles chosen by Our Lord were men. Maybe he was just old-fashioned. Well, by golly, maybe he was just being a relativist himself! Of course he had to bend to the sensitivities of his day; his all-male apostles gang just goes to show that Jesus himself was a relativist. And everybody surely knows that it is sinful to opress homosexuals because Jesus himself was Gay! Yes, it’s true! Pilate didn’t say “Ecce homo,” he really said “Icky homo!” That bad Mr. Pilate. Hope this all wasn’t TOO sacriligious (or at least less so than Fr. Greeley’s latest ramblings).
