Saints preserve us from you falling into heterodoxy, but it might be a grand idea if Catholic and other Christian blogs started a campaign to reclaim the rainbow. It is a pre-Christian symbol used by God to signify His covenant with Noah. It seems to me we have a stronger claim to it than those who use it to promote homosexuality.
two questions:
Is the frog prayer business a joke?
What do the inclusive language advocates object to about “all God’s Church”? There’s s’thing, because s’one behind me at a recent Mass edited THAT to “all God’s children”…I wanted to turn around and ask, but we WERE at Mass, and..
I happened to be spending the day, arguing with a French atheist on another blog and was searching the web to make sure that my answers were correct and in line with the Catholic Church, when I stumbled upon your blog. What a delight! I’ll bookmark it for future reference. It’s such a relief to see what is written here. I feel so beaten down…not beaten away from my faith, but so tired of going around in circles with someone who insists that God is nothing more than a “pink unicorn” or “flying tea pot”.
We’ve moved on from God to Jesus and I feel a little more on steady ground. Hopefully, I can find some answers from what I read on this blog, I’m running out of steam and although I know I will never convince this guy, I don’t want to leave it with him feeling as if he knew all the answers. Is this pride or determination? I guess only God will know that for sure! 😀
Thanks for this blog!
