Shawn O'Neal November 4, 2003 - 7:54 pm The Ordination Mass was truly filled with praise to God and much hope for Bishop Jugis and the Diocese of Charlotte. I’m fortunate to host Bishop Jugis at my mission church in Cherokee this Friday. I hope and pray that some of the people who offered their prayers and best wishes to Bishop Jugis do not turn around and sent him hate mail during the next few months. That’s happened here before now and it has probably happened quite a few other places, too. Fr. Shawn O’Neal Diocese of Charlotte Reply Fr. Ron Marecki November 19, 2003 - 4:20 pm May God bless Bishop Peter Jugis as he assumes responsibility as Bishop of the Diocese of Charlotte! I was ordained during the same year (1983) in the Diocese of Charlotte, and know and respect Bishop Jugis for his faith, intelligence, dedication to serving the church, and humility. The Diocese of Charlotte is truly blest to have an exemplary bishop! Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
