Shawn O'Neal November 4, 2003 - 7:54 pm The Ordination Mass was truly filled with praise to God and much hope for Bishop Jugis and the Diocese of Charlotte. I’m fortunate to host Bishop Jugis at my mission church in Cherokee this Friday. I hope and pray that some of the people who offered their prayers and best wishes to Bishop Jugis do not turn around and sent him hate mail during the next few months. I was ordained during the same year (1983) in the Diocese of Charlotte, and know and respect Bishop Jugis for his faith, intelligence, dedication to serving the church, and humility.
