CNS has an interview with Cardinal Levada which provides a behind the scenes look at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Interesting reading and once again shows that the CDF does not work with an iron glove but that it takes years in their investigation on those who might have departed theologically and gives them every chance to clarify themselves.
