Humor Hats all folks! by Jeffrey Miller October 25, 2006 written by Jeffrey Miller October 25, 2006 The Holy Father certainly does love trying on new hats. Though maybe he keeps trying to find a hat that Monsignor Georg Gänswein won’t swipe from him. The Pope is always having to keep an eye out whenever Monsignor Georg Gänswein is around. Who doesn’t seem to be satisfied in just swiping one. 8 comments 0 FacebookTwitterGoogle +Pinterest Jeffrey Miller previous post Silver Ordination next post Nightmare on American Street You may also like I love it when a plan comes together April 18, 2007 Sandal Scandal December 3, 2003 Sybil Disobedience January 9, 2003 HOPE April 18, 2008 Where are the John Kerry Impressionists? The two hats photo is the Papal version of the three coin trick. Reply Tom K. October 26, 2006 - 8:27 am If you put those pictures in a different order (3, 2, 4, 1), you’ve got the basics of The Five Hundred Hats of Benedict Cubbins. Reply Sister Yesterday October 26, 2006 - 8:48 am Has anyone else noticed that the Holy Father is just plain cute? There is something very “enchanted forest” about him. Maybe I just need more medication. (scuttles away to find her prescription) Reply Janice October 26, 2006 - 12:28 pm He IS cute, very cute. Reply Panda Rosa October 26, 2006 - 3:24 pm What’s the first hat? Looks like a tricorn, hard to tell from the picture. Papa does look cute no matter what’s on his head. “Now please KEEP it on this time!” spoken after Papa let the wind carry off yet another white zuccheto… Reply Molly October 26, 2006 - 9:40 pm He is cute! I read that if you pass Mgr. Gainswein a new zuchetta for the Holy Father, he will swap it out with the one being worn. True? Reply Spirit of Vatican II October 29, 2006 - 4:34 am He is cute, but Ganswein is adored by the ladies of Italy as the ultimate stunner. Reply Elizabeth October 31, 2006 - 9:14 pm Molly, apparently its true. One of the lads at my school who is studying in Rome this semester traded hats with Papa, or rather, with Monsignor..
