The papal camauro has started a new fashion wannabe fad.” Reply PBXVI December 13, 2006 - 5:45 pm The elves are checking out how good Pope Benedict is being. :-> Reply patrick December 13, 2006 - 6:34 pm ‘Hey Santa! It’s already December. Aren’t you supposed to wrap gifts this time of year instead of going to Turkey?’ Reply Panda Rosa December 13, 2006 - 8:07 pm Wonder if Pope Benedict ever will be caught in a true tailed Santa Hat, as opposed to the cloche-shaped Camauro. What would be fun is to see him in both fur-trimed Camauro and Winter Mozzetta at the same time. In any case he looks most handsome. I’m a bit saddened to see Pope Benedict surrounded by all the cameras; he’s said to be rather shy. Of course I’d probably be in among the throng if I could be; okay I’m a hypocrite.
