Talk about a lack of class.
The principal of a troubled city school was arraigned
yesterday after cops caught her driving drunk – and urinating in a Bronx street
– when she was supposed to be at work, police said.
Evelyn Peralta-Tessitore, 41, principal of Public School
192 in Harlem, was charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

This makes me feel a lot better about where I fall on the educator continuum. When our day of homeschooling is going badly, I may lock myself in my room for 15 minutes – with a box of Little Debbie Cakes. Or take the ‘reward’ M&M’s to the laundry room with me – for comfort.
(Not to imply that I approve of this woman driving drunk, but I don’t think it would have been a good thing for her to be at work in her condition…..the farther away from the school the better.)
