If this is<br \/>\nreally a problem then I have some alternative solutions. (Warning: highly<br \/>\nsarcastic comments ahead) <\/p>\n<p>1. We could put up two Sony Jumbotrons on each<br \/>\nside of the church. One showing the penitent and one showing the priest. We<br \/>\ncould incorporate that digital blocking technology that automatically distorts<br \/>\nthe persons features.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the old television show &#8220;Get Smart&#8221; they use<br \/>\nto have a glass bubble that would lower over Max and the Chiefs head and block<br \/>\neavesdropping. This way they could stand out in the open where everyone can see<br \/>\nthem and not be overheard.<\/p>\n<p>3. The priest could be outfitted in the<br \/>\nstraight-jacket and mask as seen in &#8220;The silence of the lambs&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>This<br \/>\nseems to paint all of our priests with the same brush and sends the message that<br \/>\nwe need to take every precaution to protect ourselves from our priests.
