It does much to<br \/>\nexplain the terms Protestants and Catholics use in relation to salvation. Many<br \/>\narguments happen because of deferent emphasis and understanding of terms so that<br \/>\nwe end up talking past each other instead of seeing what we substantially agree<br \/>\non. Not only is this a good apologetics source, but it is also an excellent<br \/>\nexplanation of salvation, justification, and sanctification and the three tenses<br \/>\nof each. For a book that covers so much information it is wonderfully succinct.<br \/>\nAs a bonus, at the end there is a chapter of the joint decree between Catholics<br \/>\nand Lutherans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have finished reading James Akin&#8216;s book &#8220;The Salvation Controversy&#8221;, excellent reading.
