Both Mary-Kate and Ashley are demanding that<br \/>\nPresident Bush use diplomacy to end the crisis with Iraq . <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=#3333ff>&#8230;Being entertainers, the Olsen Twins are longtime<br \/>\npolitical activists whose first protest\ufffdshortly after their birth in 1986\ufffdwas<br \/>\nagainst the Reagan Administration\ufffds support of the Nicaraguan Contras.<br \/>\nPredictably, the twins also opposed the use of force to remove Manuel Noriega<br \/>\nand won widespread respect in Hollywood when they protested the Gulf War by<br \/>\nrefusing to eat pizza until it was over.<\/font> [<a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.bsnn.net\/\">Full Story<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>This is getting harder by the day. I am not exactly certain that the possible<br \/>\nwar with Iraq is just, but I dislike being on the same side as Hollywood<br \/>\ncelebrities. Usually they are such a reliable pointer as to what the wrong<br \/>\nposition is. I don&#8217;t remember any of them coming out when we were bombing the<br \/>\ncivilian population of Serbia to get Slobodan Milosevic to step down. I also<br \/>\nsuspect that during a Republican administration if the same situation arose as<br \/>\nin Nazi Germany that they would also be on the streets demanding peace. Peace is<br \/>\nnot the absence of war but the presence of justice. I just get tired of brutal<br \/>\ndictators around the world being hugged and called not such a bad guy.
