The senate passed a law banning Partial Birth Abortion by 64-33 [Full Story<\/a>]. I know this story will be reported on most weblogs, I am just glad to be able to type and to see those words.<\/p>\n

Jane Chastain has a good article on The little girl Barbara Boxer tried to hide.<\/a><\/p>\n

Of course Sen. Barbara Boxer is still complaining about not having a health exemption for the partial birth abortion ban. I try to find a charitable reason why somebody can believe that bearing a child dead or alive through the birth canal has any affect on the physical health of the mother. I guess this one is beyond logic and just enters into the realm of pro-abortion politics.<\/p>\n

Note to the pro-abortion crowd. Yes we are trying to totally eliminate abortion, yes this is the first step down that road. Hopefully this is the first step in inverting the slippery slope.<\/p>\n

On Banned Parenthood’s site:<\/p>\n

Even with a doctor at the helm, politics trumps women’s health in the U.S. Senate. With reckless disregard for women’s health and distrust for women as moral decision makers, the U.S. Senate passed a broadly written ban that would outlaw some of the safest and most common abortion procedures.<\/p>\n

The child might disagree with their concept of safe. I thought before PP claimed that Partial Birth Abortion was uncommon? Now they are saying it is one of the most common?<\/p>\n

This ban is another attack in the Bush administration’s and Congress’ war on women. Planned Parenthood calls upon the U.S. Senate to advance women’s reproductive rights by passing proactive legislation that guarantees women’s civil rights and helps improve women’s health. And we will do everything in our power to stop this ban and every attack on women’s fundamental human rights.<\/p>\n

Let see how many times can we use the word rights in a sentence: Reproductive rights, Civil rights, Human rights, they have covered every angle except for being right.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
