Many people are probably aware of the social media service “foursquare”, for those not in the know Wikipedia says:<\/p>\n

Foursquare<\/strong>\u00a0is a location-based\u00a0social networking<\/a>\u00a0website for\u00a0mobile<\/a>\u00a0devices, such as\u00a0smartphones<\/a>. Users\u00a0“check in”<\/a>\u00a0at venues using a\u00a0mobile website<\/a>,\u00a0text messaging<\/a>\u00a0or a device-specific\u00a0application<\/a>\u00a0by selecting from a list of venues the application locates nearby.[3]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Location is based on\u00a0GPS<\/a>\u00a0hardware<\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0mobile<\/a>\u00a0device or network location provided by the application. Each check-in awards the user points and sometimes “badges”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now I have never used this service since even rocks call me sedentary in my ways. When I am not working in front of a computer monitor, I am likely to be behind a book and so my check-in history would be rather repetitive and extremely boring.<\/p>\n

This social networking service does make me wish for a different type of service that would be more useful than letting your friends know what store or restaurant you are currently are visiting.<\/p>\n

What I would like to see a service called;<\/p>\n

But of course with a logo that doesn’t suck.<\/p>\n

Now I would envision prayersquare as the place to check-in with your private and liturgical prayers. \u00a0You could then follow the prayer activity of \u00a0fellow members of the body of Christ and have events such as:<\/p>\n
