Comedienne-turned-peace-activist Janeane Garofalo offered
\na stunning admission on Sunday, explaining that she and her fellow anti-war
\nprotesters didn’t stage huge demonstrations when President Clinton launched
\nattacks on Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan and the Sudan because "it wasn’t very
\nhip" to protest the former president.<\/font> \n<\/p>\n

Interesting, I didn’t realize that the word hip meant "Republican President
\nin office" <\/p>\n

Asked by "Fox News Sunday’s" Tony Snow why
\npeace protesters like herself didn’t object to Clinton’s wars, Garofalo explained:<\/font><\/p>\n

"I absolutely did. I did not support Operation Desert
\nFox. It’s just that you didn’t know me very well back then. Nobody really was
\ninterested in listening to me back then."<\/font><\/p>\n

Well at least some things never change, nobody is still really interested
\nin what you have she has to say.\n<\/p>\n

Garofalo went on to claim that Hollywood actors Susan
\nSarandon and Tim Robbins led protests against Clinton’s 1998 Iraq attack, saying
\nthat "there was a lot of protest, just as there was against the first Gulf
\nWar."<\/font><\/p>\n

A Lexis-Nexis search for December 1998, the month Clinton
\nbombed the daylights out of Baghdad, failed to turn up a single report that
\nmentioned either Sarandon or Robbins protesting the attacks.
