\ncorrect,” he continued. “It means being sensitive to the moral, religious and
\nspiritual; aspects of human life, aspects which are often misunderstood or
\ndeliberately ignored.”

“It means reporting not only the misdeeds and tragedies
\nthat take place, but also the positive and uplifting actions performed on behalf
\nof those in need: the poor, the sick, the handicapped, the weak, those who are
\notherwise forgotten by society,” he stressed.

Looking over the blogs that reported on this story I didn’t notice anyone
\nconnect this to blogging. I think that his address to Catholic Journalists also
\napplies precisely to bloggers. Now most bloggers don’t have any problems
\nreporting what is not considered politically correct. I know that I don’t
\nexactly blog much that is hopeful or that offers examples of heroism. Sometimes
\nreading through stories I think “bloggable or not bloggable” depending on the
\nease of diatribe, so I am going to try to be more aware of this in the future.
