Core of The Blog from the Core <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/weblog.theviewfromthecore.com\/000999.html\" target=_blank>posted an<br \/>\nitem<\/a> about replies from readers of the Best of the Web Today to &#8220;discover<br \/>\ntheir own psychological disorders&#8221;. Some of these posts were almost as funny as<br \/>\nthe real ones people invent for themselves. <\/p>\n<p>I sent him a list pertaining<br \/>\nto <a href=\"http:\/\/weblog.theviewfromthecore.com\/001002.html\">PCSD (Politically<br \/>\nCorrect Stress Disorder)<\/a> which he kindly posted. So in the odd chance you<br \/>\nhaven&#8217;t been to his blog yet, get to it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">I myself suffer from PCSD (Politically Correct Stress Disorder), everyday is a constant worry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">The following is an examination of conscience for those struck with PSCD:<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Was the chicken I ate a free range chicken or was it one raised in captivity? <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Was the coffee I drank non fair-trade coffee? <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I adequately reflect that I was living in a nation stolen from the Indians and built on the backs of slaves today?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">How large did the ozone hole get when I cranked up my air-conditioning?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">How many nonrenewable resources have I recently gone through?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Have I committed a mortal sin by driving a car with an internal combustion engine?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I think that Western Civilization was actually a good thing?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I condemn or think that same sex marriages were not beneficial? <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I not repeat the mantra of choice, choice, choice over and over again. <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I have the audacity to use a Styrofoam cup?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I place babies in the womb above whales and dolphins?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I not trust in Government to solve all of my problems?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Was I uncharitable by not not wishing that the rich were taxed more?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I not curse vouchers for sucking the lifes-breath out of our awesome public schools system?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I think that males and females are fundamentally different and not interchangeable?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I not say amen after a Hollywood celebrity pontificated?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I think that George W. Bush was actually legally elected President?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Have I not felt guilty for what a distant relative might have done today?<\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Do I miss the fair and balanced reporting of Bryant Gumbel? <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I not think that Rush Limbaugh and talk radio is the scourge of humanity? <\/p>\n<p class=\"post\">Did I rely on reason and not emotion to come to an opinion?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>E.L.
