\nWelborn<\/a> on new age nuns. This time it is the Adrian Dominican Sisters<\/a> I
\ndid manage to find one reference to Jesus on their website in their mission
\nstatement. I guess it is a blessing that these nuns also do not wear habits so
\nas not to be confused with an obedient prayerful community of Dominicans. This
\nis another group of nuns to pray for their return to orthodoxy.<\/p>\n

Circle Meditation Garden<\/font>
The Circle Meditation garden reminds us that we are part of the
\nearth, and it is a part of us. The garden teaches us about natural harmony and
\nthe rhythms of living upon the earth. Each season in the garden is one of
\nbeauty, from the rich, abundant meadow colors and fragrances of mid-summer, to
\nthe spare, linear silhouettes of a Michigan winter. From the season of rebirth,
\nfresh with budding crocuses and damp earth, to the final blaze of autumn, the
\nspirit whispers in the garden. Come, sit among the splendor of the garden and
\nenjoy beauty-nature.<\/font><\/p>\n

Let us reflect on the beauty of Pi
\n3.1415926535897932384626433832795…, where we will reflect on circular logic
\nand perimeter prayer. This all seems like Pi in the Sky to me.<\/p>\n

I tried using Treescape 6.0 for a time but it was really
\nslow (progress was shown in tree rings and updated once a year) and pages were
\nnot rendered correctly so I went back to using Internet Explorer.<\/font><\/p>\n

The Outdoor
\nLabyrinth<\/font>
“Blessed are those who have set their heart on pilgrimage.”
\n(Psalm 85) A labyrinth is a sacred, circular pattern symbolic of our life
\njourney. As a tool for spiritual centeredness, it is a pilgrimage, a journey to
\nthe divine. The Weber Center labyrinth is a replica of the labyrinth inlaid in
\nthe floor of Chartres Cathedral in France in the thirteenth century. The path is
\nmore than 1,000 feet long, approximately 60 feet in diameter and constructed of
\nenduring stone. The labyrinth offers a quiet retreat from the hurry-up pace of
\ndaily activities. With a peaceful meadow as a backdrop, the labyrinth is open to
\nall, any day of the year, for quiet presence and meditation. <\/p>\n

Why are labyrinths so prevalent in all of these new age
\ncommunities? Is is symbolic for the twisted confusing path they follow? Is it a
\ntype of gnosticism where you need to know the secret information to get out of
\nthe labyrinth? Or is just based on a misprinted hymnal that contained “Mazing
\nGrace”?<\/font><\/p>\n

As gifted dwellers on our planet Recognizing the
\nsacredness of earth and the fragility of its ecosystems, we commit ourselves to
\nthe healing of our planet by fostering right relationships and by confronting
\nthe destruction of life systems.<\/font><\/p>\n
