The "Genocide Awareness Project" and "Reproductive Choice Campaign" caused
\nquite a stir at the UAlbany campus.<\/p>\n
Albany’s "College Standard Magazine" teamed
\nwith the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform to bring their billboard size ad campaign
\nto the school’s
\ncampus center.<\/p>\n
The two-day display showed explicit pictures of the Holocaust, Sept. 11, and
\nabortion. The posters outraged students and attendees.<\/p>\n
Shelly Shapiro, the Director of Community Relations
\nfor the United Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York said, "Were
\nhorrified at such a huge display which basically incites hatred. Some extremist
\ngroup has decided to
\nexploit the memory of victims of all genocides, including holocaust and racism
\nand desecrate those victims for purpose of inciting hatred against women." <\/p>\n
I have mentioned before that I think it is a mistake to equate abortion with
\ngenocide since abortionist are equal opportunity destroyers and will perform
\ntheir services along as the person puts up the money and they are not concerned
\nabout the race of the women. Mass murder it is and it should be called such
\nand separated from purposeful murder of a race of people or culture. Though
\nhow this display could cause hatred against women is beyond me.<\/p>\n
Some students felt they were being emotionally manipulated and decided to
\noffer alternatives.<\/p>\n
Meaghan Carroll, VOX voices of Planned Parenthood said, "We’re
\noffering alternative displays and information about abortion rights the history
\nof choice
\nand the issue of faith in choice."<\/p>\n
An employee at the Center for Bioethical Reform said the disturbing images
\nare all part of the campaign.<\/p>\n
Fletcher Armstrong said, "They object to the fact
\nthat we’re showing the truth about abortion here on this campus, they find
\nthings to complain
\nabout. One thing they don’t like is abortion is a horrible act of genocide
\ncomparable to other forms of genocide."<\/p>\n

\nrepresent victims of back alley abortions before abortion was legalized.

\nreflect this reality. Dr. Bernard Nathenson, the former abortion doctor and
\nco-founder of NARAL, has stated that he made those number up from thin air
\nabout back alley abortions. The book LIME

\nhard statistic to accurately track since these deaths are just recorded
