One bill now in committee proposes erecting a monument outside the Statehouse that memorializes aborted fetuses. <\/p>\n<p>Myrtle Beach Representative Thad Viers says the bill honors unborn children who have given their lives because of legal abortion. <\/p>\n<p>Another abortion bill would establish that life begins at fertilization and is protected by the law at the time of fertilization.
