{"id":7871,"date":"2003-05-31T19:25:30","date_gmt":"2003-06-01T00:25:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/2003\/05\/31\/queertoday-gone-tomorrow\/"},"modified":"2003-05-31T19:25:30","modified_gmt":"2003-06-01T00:25:30","slug":"queertoday-gone-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.splendoroftruth.com\/curtjester\/2003\/05\/queertoday-gone-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Queertoday gone tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"articles\">FRAMINGHAM &#8212; A Bay State group advocating gay and lesbian rights plans to protest inside the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston tomorrow morning when the pastor reads a church statement opposing same-sex marriage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articles\">The group, QueerToday.com, and coordinator Wes Ritchie, who organized a Gay-Straight Alliance at Framingham High School, hope to have supporters scattered throughout the congregation who will stand up when the pastor reads the statement, which the four bishops in Massachusetts have distributed to Catholic churches throughout the commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articles\">Ritchie, 18, said, &#8220;We&#8217;re going to have people scattered throughout the congregation and we&#8217;re planning a walkout when this is read aloud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articles\">&#8220;It&#8217;s meant to be noticeable, but not disruptive,&#8221; he said.
