Back in the days of King David there was also a similar campaign. A guy named Uzzah was not thrilled with the ceremonial laws regarding Ark carrying and started a campaign in protest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.splendoroftruth.com\/curtjester\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/arktouching.jpg\" width=\"152\" height=\"107\"> <\/p>\n<p>This was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hti.umich.edu\/cgi\/r\/rsv\/rsv-idx?type=citation&#038;book=2%2BSamuel&#038;chapno=6&#038;startverse=7&#038;endverse=7\">very short lived campaign<\/a> and though not recorded I believe Uzzah&#8217;s last words were &quot;Oops!&quot;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In reference to my post on Receiving Communion Anyways I thought I would put it into some historical context.
