{"id":5964,"date":"2005-07-01T12:58:43","date_gmt":"2005-07-01T17:58:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/2005\/07\/01\/full-scale-assault\/"},"modified":"2005-07-01T12:58:43","modified_gmt":"2005-07-01T17:58:43","slug":"full-scale-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.splendoroftruth.com\/curtjester\/2005\/07\/full-scale-assault\/","title":{"rendered":"Full scale assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"bi\"> <span class=\"bi\">Spain&#8217;s social revolution has continued with the Spanish Parliament granting couples the right to no-fault, fast-track divorces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">In contrast to the fierce reaction that greeted legislation allowing gay marriage, and despite muted opposition from the Catholic church, the changes to Spain&#8217;s divorce laws have caused barely a ripple.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">The new law &#8211; which the Government says is needed to bring Spanish laws &quot;up to date with modern society&quot; &#8211; removes the requirement that couples be separated for a year before a divorce can be granted. When the law comes into effect, only three months of separation will be required.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">Spain&#8217;s lower house on Thursday legalised gay marriage and granted full adoption rights to gay couples. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theage.com.au\/news\/world\/spain-approves-fasttrack-divorce\/2005\/07\/01\/1119724808996.html?oneclick=true\">Source<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p class=\"blog\">This story did get less attention than legalizing same-sex marriage even though it is also very scandalous. Though it is consistent with the approval of same-sex marriage. Why not do a full scale barrage against the God-given institution of marriage? Spain didn&#8217;t go in for half measures and while this is sad legislation it fits in with whole scheme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"blog\">I wonder what the Spanish Muslims reaction to this is?
