Charles-Eugene Apesteguy said the purpose of the sign is to &quot;bring good news.&quot; He said the sign&#8217;s messages are not advertising.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">Apesteguy&#8217;s Roman Catholic parish paid $5,000 for the second-hand electronic billboard. It was installed over the front door in hopes of grabbing the attention of passers-by.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">Apesteguy said many people have thanked the church for the messages of hope.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxreno.com\/family\/9440852\/detail.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.splendoroftruth.com\/curtjester\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/article.png\" width=\"76\" height=\"26\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"blog\">Go out into the whole world and spread the good news, oops is that considered advertising? I wonder if you follow the quote attributed to St. Francis &quot;and if necessary use words&quot; could land you with a fine for spreading the Gospel by your actions?
