The clothing-otional Franciscan is coming to Xavier (‘natch):<\/em><\/p>\n

Xavier University will host two Franciscans to speak on Franciscans International’s work at the United Nations and at the grassroots level on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable.<\/span><\/p>\n

The talk, at 7 p.m. next Saturday (Aug. 19) at the Schiff Family Conference Center in Xavier’s Cintas Center, is open to the public. A $20 donation is suggested with proceeds benefiting Franciscans International.The speakers will be the Rev. John Quigley, co-founder and executive director of Franciscans International, and the Rev. Richard Rohr, founder of the New Jerusalem Community in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n

Well I guess there is a Franciscan precedent since St. Francis did strip off all of his clothes and returned them to his father during a courtroom appearance.
