As always there are many important ballot initiatives, constitutional proposals, etc that are concerned with battling the culture of death. The diocese of Sioux Falls <a href=\"http:\/\/sio.midco.net\/can\/AffirmHB1215.html\">suggests starting a novena<\/a> to the Immaculate Conception today especially since they have an abortion ban on their ballot. So for the next nine days I will be running their novena.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\"><strong>Prayer To The Immaculate Conception <\/strong><br \/>\nO God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son, we beseech You that, as by the foreseen<br \/>\ndeath of this, Your Son, You did preserve Her from all stain, so too You would permit<br \/>\nus, purified through Her intercession, to come unto You.<br \/>\nThrough the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You<br \/>\nin the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Day One <\/strong><br \/>\nO most Holy Virgin, who was pleasing to the Lord and became His mother, immaculate in body and spirit, in faith and in love, look kindly on me as I implore your powerful<br \/>\nintercession. O most Holy Mother, who by your blessed Immaculate Conception, from<br \/>\nthe first moment of your conception did crush the head of the enemy, receive our<br \/>\nprayers as we implore you to present at the throne of God the favor we now request&#8230; <\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\"> (State your intention here&#8230;) <\/p>\n<p class=\"bi\">O Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your<br \/>\nDivine Son while upon this earth; you have the same influence now in heaven.
