{"id":3441,"date":"2007-11-08T17:06:11","date_gmt":"2007-11-08T22:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/2007\/11\/08\/if-you-think-your-liturgy-is-bad\/"},"modified":"2007-11-08T17:06:11","modified_gmt":"2007-11-08T22:06:11","slug":"if-you-think-your-liturgy-is-bad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.splendoroftruth.com\/curtjester\/2007\/11\/if-you-think-your-liturgy-is-bad\/","title":{"rendered":"If you think your liturgy is bad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"blog\">Rochester Catholic relates his ten years since he returned to the<br \/>\nChurch in a couple of posts that detail a large number of things he has<br \/>\nhad to contend with. &nbsp;As <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/richleonardi.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/youre-from-rochester.html\"\ntarget=\"_blank\">Rich Leonardi writes<\/a> in regards to<br \/>\nthis post &#8220;You can find an abuse or two like those above in most<br \/>\ndioceses, but I know of no other place where they are so widespread and<br \/>\nflagrant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Some of the abuses listed are common ones, but others are quite a<br \/>\ndoozy, for example:<\/p>\n<p class=\"article\">There were the liturgies at my<br \/>\ndaughters&#8217; high school in which the<br \/>\npriest would stop the Mass and take a vote on which Eucharistic prayer<br \/>\nto use. The group that yelled the loudest would win.
