One reporter \ufffd I<br \/>\nwill call her &#8220;Infidel,&#8221; as that&#8217;s the name she selected \ufffd wrote me<br \/>\nrecently about something she finds troublesome. She was chagrined to<br \/>\nfind that in order to acces confidential media information for the<br \/>\nupcoming papal visit, she would have to type &#8220;ChristOurHope&#8221; on the<br \/>\nU.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops&#8217; website.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And it&#8217;s the username!&#8221; she wrote me. &#8220;It feels a bit like a forced<br \/>\nconversion. At the very least it&#8217;s tone deaf. I wonder if the Vatican<br \/>\nbelieves that only Catholic reporters will be covering his visit? I&#8217;ve<br \/>\ntalked to Episcopalians, Catholics, Muslims and plenty of Christians<br \/>\nand pretty much every one of them, reporter or layperson, is absolutely<br \/>\nincredulous.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"blog\">Typing &#8220;ChristOurHope&#8221; feels like a forced<br \/>\nconversion? &nbsp;Wait<br \/>\ntill she finds out the password is &#8220;RepentNowOrGoToHell.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"blog\">Also notice her total ignorance in<br \/>\nthinking it was the Vatican that set this up instead of realizing that<br \/>\nthis would be from the USCCB. &nbsp;When you know so little about<br \/>\nwhat your covering exactly how do you cover it?
