Plus of course includes an appeal to surveys regarding Catholics as if they mattered beyond unfortunately illustrating the ignorance of many Catholics.<\/p>\n<p>This only exposes the weakness in those who can\u2019t grasp that you can\u2019t do evil to do good. What she calls weakness is actually a consistent moral ethic.<\/p>\n<p>From the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vatican.va\/archive\/ccc_css\/archive\/catechism\/p3s1c1a4.htm\">Catechism of the Catholic Church<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>1750<\/em> The morality of human acts depends on:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>the object chosen;<\/li>\n<li>the end in view or the intention;<\/li>\n<li>the circumstances of the action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>The object, the intention, and the circumstances make up the \u201csources,\u201d or constitutive elements, of the morality of human acts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is an example of the new eugenics where it is better to kill a person or prevent them from every becoming a person than to exist with illnesses and disabilities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Catholic tradition has always allowed for some flexibility in the interpretation of Church teaching in particular circumstances \u2014 a practice known as casuistry. When the denial of contraception exposes adults or the children they conceive to life-threatening illnesses and disabilities \u2014 and when the criminalization of abortion condemns women to carry unwanted pregnancies to term or risk their lives through illegal abortions \u2014 we need to navigate a path of careful ethical reasoning through contested areas of human vulnerability, rights, and responsibilities.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Funny how abortion is a cure for \u201clife-threatening illnesses and disabilities\u201d. The new eugenics has been busy wiping out birth defects by eliminating the person who has them. They have done a bang up job with Down Syndrome with 90 percent being aborted and are looking for continued <em>success<\/em> in other areas.<\/p>\n<p>She sees casuistry as loopholes to help ignore the morality of human acts.<\/p>\n<p>From the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicculture.org\/culture\/library\/dictionary\/index.cfm?id=32357\">Catholic Dictionary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2026 casuistry is an integral part of the Church\u2019s moral tradition. Its purpose is to adapt the unchangeable norms of Christian morality to the changing and variable circumstances of human life. (Etym.
