Francis to Star as Himself in Upcoming Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/thecut\/2016\/02\/pope-francis-gets-acting-bug.html#\">The Pope Meets Leonardo DiCaprio One Time and Suddenly He Thinks He\u2019s an Actor<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>(Vatican Radio) The Prefect of the recently established Secretariat for Communications, Monsignor Dario Edoardo Vigan\u00f2, has refuted press reports claiming Pope Francis \u201cwill play himself\u201d in an upcoming film.<\/p>\n<p>The film production company ENVI Pictures issued a statement on Monday saying Pope Francis will appear in the film \u201cBeyond the Sun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pope is not an actor,\u201d Msgr.
