Four years ago I decided to create my own Advent Wreath graphic instead of just using the normal animated gif that I used previously. If you would like it for your own blog you can use the html code below which uses some homepage server space that won't effect the bandwidth for my blog. I will replace the graphic each week so that it correctly shows the number of candles that should be lit. On Christmas I will change it to another graphic I created for Christmastide.
Additionally underneath my Advent graphic on my left side I have created a JavaScript that gives a countdown to Christmas. If you want to do the same thing you can insert this script into your blog template with the following code underneath where you place the graphic. Though WordPress.com users would be out of luck since they don't allow JavaScript.
Known as

I will add these to my blog, GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO (http://virtualchapel.blogspot.com) tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing!
Have a blessed Advent and Christmas!
As in years past: THANK YOU!!!

Oh goodie! I look forward to this every year!
Thank you for the advent wreath and countdown.
FANTASTIC! I've looked around everywhere for this. A pray answered! Happy Advent!
Thanks for the Advent Wreath, Jeff. I've linked back to your blog! Hat Tip!

thank you for the small but great service you provide with this graphics. May your preparation for the birth of our Savior be fruitful.
As always, thank you so much, Jeff!
Thank you!! It wouldn't be Advent without this!
Thanks for sharing!
How lovely!! Thanks so much ~ this is a great way to share Advent with everyone that visits blogs.
The wreath is working on my blog but the text about "X praying days left" isn't working. I wonder what I did wrong?
Great, I also used it last year. Thanks again.
Many thanks for the gif, that I have included on my sidebar for the Season!
I'm adding both to my blog (http://www.bayareacatholic.com/)! Thank you very much Jeff :)

Thank you for the "living" gif. I have pasted it onto my profile page on Ravelry, an online "community" of fiber people. There is so much blasphemy and misuse of God's name there that your little candle will allow me to protest this silently. I'm spreading the word to other Catholics on Ravelry.
P.S. On my Mac I most certainly CAN type the Greek letters I see in the picture: δελβα
Thanks for setting this up for us each year, Jeff. May God bless you in this Advent season. :)
Thanks, Jeff! I was hoping you would do this again this Advent season and am grateful that you did. I like having this beautiful wreath on my blog. God bless you!
Thanks, Jeff! I was hoping you would do this again this Advent season -- I always look forward to putting up this beautiful wreath.
God bless you during this holy season!
Thank you for the graphic.
Ruthann, I have heard some negative things like that about Ravelry before. So unfortunate.
Thanks for the graphic! It is now adorning the minor premise.
Thanks Jeff.
I was hoping you would do this again.
Have a Blessed Advent!
Thank you Jeff for allowing us to use your Advent Graphic again. It's a beacon of light, no pun intended, for many as a witness to their faith. God Bless you.
Thank you!
Thanks for the scripts.
Thanks Jeff. A blessed Advent season for you and your family!
Thanks Jeff. I've added them to my blog, St. Joseph's Workshop.
Thanks for this beautiful graphic. I have copied it to my blog. May you have a blessed Advent season!
WOW! Thank you SO MUCH...I'd been wondering if I could find something like this!
God bless you for your generosity and thanks for enriching my Advent Season!
I have been searching the internet for weeks trying to get my hands on the latest trading software, I finally found a great blog blog full of information. I will be visiting it more often.
Thanks, I'm going to use it as well.
Thanks for doing this again. I have added it to my parish's web site, for what I think is at least the third year in a row.
I never did thank you in here for your Advent Wreath but I hope that your heart knows that I appreciate "IT" and most people who follow my blog.
God Bless and I also thank you for sharing,
Peace
