Doh!

Clinton spoke about embryos not being fertilized and said that if embryos were ever on their way to be fertilized, they shouldn't be used for experimentation. He said this one way or another about 3 or 4 times and then ended by saying it unequivocally.

I couldn't believe my ears! Surely, I thought, Dr. Gupta - a medical doctor, isn't he? - is going to nicely point out that an embryo is an embryo because it has been fertilized, that it is a genetically complete fully fertilized egg. Gupta said nothing.

Can it be that Bill Clinton and Dr. Gupta don't really know what an embryo is?

I hope someone in the pro-life movement will use the clip of Clinton saying fertilized embryos should not be used for experimentation!

Via The Lady in the Pew

The video does back this up that he said such a stupid thing and Dr. Gupta who was going to be Surgeon General didn't correct him.

A likely winner for the foot in mouth award.

This is probably just another revelation of the brain damage he received from his bypass surgery.

They redefined conception to be implantation and now they are trying to redefine fertilization to be implantation too. It's just newspeak. We will soon have no word for what we once all called conception/fertilization. And then anything can be justified.

and yet he ran this country(!) sad,sad man. God have mercy on him.

It's true. I just watched it on the replay in the middle of the night. It was weird, something akin to saying that only a fetus can be aborted, no babies should ever be aborted, only a fetus. If its a fetus then abortion is an acceptable choice, but a baby has rights. I don't know. It's crazy.

People should be aware that places like Children's Hosp. in Cincinnati are ready to mass produce high quality, embryonic stem cells. Quite frankly, I think our health care system is of hell already. The MDs I meet are about the biggest philosophical relativists I know without an ounce of reason. They are deadly smart.

Think about what the Pillars of Hellth Care are and Christians should beware.
1. Vaccinations (lies)
2. Drugs (corruption)
3. Diversity (antifamily)
4. HIPAA (government control)
5. Secular (no sin, no Savior)
6. Money (root of all kinds of evil)

Concerned Nurse in Pediatrics, 18 years, maybe a little night shift crazy.

It shouldn't be surprising that occasionally they fall victim to their own obfuscation.

Here in Missouri they passed Amendment 2, enshrining embryo destruction in the law, by saying it was an anti-cloning measure. They achieved that by defining cloning (in the amendment) as creation of the embryo *plus* implantation, whereas the amendment allows creation of the embryo followed by *destruction*. The ballot summary took this abuse of the English language for granted, making no note of the redefinition going on. 52% of the state's voters fell for it.

The truth is stark and clear, so the pro-death party must conceal the truth in order to achieve their ends.

Is it possible that Bill Clinton really doesn't know the facts about Conception? Maybe that is part of the problem. I really think he is confused on this issue and was not being deceitful. Maybe Dr.Gupta did not want to embarrass him. Hopefully there will be some discussion regarding this interview and Dr.Gupta will clear up any confusion regarding Conception. That would be the right thing to do.

Democrats: We'll take the politics out of science. And while we're at it, we'll take facts and common sense out too and let people fiddle around and do whatever they want.

Now I know why He and Hillary had only one child. Heretofore I thought it was her pulchritude or lack thereof. Or, is he merely puerile?

Am I banned now?

"If it's obvious that we're not taking embryos that under any conceivable scenario would be used for a process that would allow them to be fertilized and become a p... little babies. ... These committees need to make it clear that they're not going to fool with any embryos where there is any possibility, even if it's somewhat remote, that they could be fertilized and become human beings."

Yes, he almost said "a person", and then caught himself.

Well I once had a professor at UMD who taught Human Sexuality who wasn't sure what the term coitus meant.

Yes the Greek Captcha is a joke
