Give the gift that keeps on killing!

What to get for the girl who doesn't want to have anything? The Planned Parenthood Christmas gift certificate:

"Looking for an unusual, yet practical gift this holiday season? Planned Parenthood of Indiana (PPIN) is now offering gift certificates for services or the recipient's choice of birth control method," the abortion business says.

The gift certificates can be purchased in increments of $25 online at the group's web site or for any amount at some of PPIN's 35 statewide facilities.

While PPIN president and CEO Betty Cockrum says they can be redeemed for contraception, birth control and legitimate medical services like breast exams and Pap tests, they can also be used to pay for abortions.

"Why not buy a loved one a gift this holiday season that they really need," Cockrum says in a press release LifeNews.com obtained. "The gift certificates are also a wonderful idea for that person in your life who puts everyone else first."

Ah, if only King Herod had sent one to Mary . . . Do they have musical cards that play "When A Child Isn't Born"?

Mark Steyn titled his post Complete with Attractive Gift Card Showing Baby-free Manger!

Since 2002 Planned Parenthood has sold Choice on Earth cards and i once provided a "Baby-free Manger" for them.

Empty Manger Choice on Earth

Though it looks like Planned Parenthood has closed down it's online store except for publications this year. So maybe this year we won't have "Choice on Earth" cards, just "gift" cards. Gee at one time I thought it was called the gift of life, not a "gift" card can be used for the "gift" death.

Besides nothing celebrates the birth of our savior Jesus Christ like a Planned Parenthood gift card for abortion and contraception. King Herod must be pleased that the murder of innocents continues to this day and now you can use a convenient "gift" card to sponsor it. The Planned Parenthood gift card, "Don't leave womb without it." In fact just don't leave womb in a single piece.

Their "gift" card should look like this.

Planned Parenthood Bloody Gift Card

I think that Peter Kreeft is right... This is a real culture war:
http://salesianity.blogspot.com/2008/11/peter-kreeft-how-to-win-culture-war.html
Let's pray we remain strong in faith and keep fighting the good fight for life!

As usual, having state power would fix this little problem right up.

A gift card for killing babies. Were even the Romans that crass?

I've just noticed this. Well done! Excellent response. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
May you have a holy and happy Christmas.

What next? A do-it-yourself abortion kit, complete with portable altar to Moloch for those all-important pre-murdering prayers?

"O Moloch, look upon me with mercy and save my life as I dice up the parasite in my womb!"

Or maybe free abortion clinic tours (read: indoctrination courses) for children?

"Kids! This is how we make sure little tikes like you never make it out alive."

Well, nothing says, "Merry Christmas, my favorite little skank", like this. What teenage girl wouldn't be delighted with that message at Christmas...er..sorry...non-specific religion neutral day that just happens to be around the end of December.

Every time I think the people at PP have sunk to a new low, they manage to find new depths...this little tidbit might be the gold standard of tastelessness and corporate greed. WE need to pray for these people and for anyone seriously considering buying buying a gift certificate from Chez Moloch.

This latest obscenity is nothing new for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood of New York City offered women free abortions and other related services as a response to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

The goal of the offer, good for 12 days in September, was "to reach out to women who have been displaced and ease their fears," the group said in a press release.

"Everyone wants to do something," spokesperson Ali Bartolone said in the statement. "This is our response; this is our way of helping women in need."

I'm trying too hard not to laugh...but the fact that PP is doing this is despicable

Thanks Jeff. I wasn't aware Planned Parenthood offered Christmas gift certificates for women who want an abortion. Here's a link I found:

http://www.lifenews.com/state3669.html

Don't think the CEO's name went by me without a sophomoric snicker.

Either one of the designs above, the "Choice on Earth" one or the gift card one would make great bumper stickers. They're easy and inexpensive to get made. Any objection to using either of these designs for one?

Thought I posted this here earlier...haven't found it anywhere else.

...legitimate medical services...

Just wondering if PP accidentally distinguished abortion from "legitimate medical services," or if the reporter did, or someone else made a Freudian slip.

"Or maybe free abortion clinic tours (read: indoctrination courses) for children?

"Kids! This is how we make sure little tikes like you never make it out alive."

I hate to tell you this Erick, but Planned Parenthood RI is already hosting field trips for kids. I don't know if they're free or not (gov. funded, maybe?), but while praying outside PP we've encountered parents on their way to pick up their young sons from their PP field trip. From the look of things so far, it seems that these outings target minority students.
Diversity? HAH! I've already been told by a PPRI rep that "Without abortion, the population would be overflowing with poor, starving black people."

Maria,
I'm interested in that news article, but I can't get to it through the address you sent.
I just found a youtube on the subject, however:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yvXDbDDHj0

The doctor speaking says what I would have liked to say, except that I'm too angry for such civil words. How could even Planned Parenthood be so ignorant and cruel as to offer abortion to a woman already victimized by a terrorist attack?

I've already been told by a PPRI rep that "Without abortion, the population would be overflowing with poor, starving black people."

Let's see them put that on a bumper sticker!

Erick,
I was surprised that she shouted it from the PP front entrance. Hopefully, it replayed to them later and made some people reconsider.

Yes the Greek Captcha is a joke
