I hope he wins
There have been more and more stories of Al Gore being urged to run if he wins the Nobel Peace prize. You might be surprised to learn that I really hope that he does win the Nobel Peace prize and I think this will help to end global warming.
He keeps picking up award after award and my hope is that his head will get big enough to slightly block the sun and thus end global warming.

What has he done to help procure peace in the world? John Edwards has done more for peace and humanity by helping people in New Orleans rebuild their houses. Then again, I think the Pope trumps most of the people out there.

Hehe...hadn't thought of it like that, but since the Pasha of Peace's (Arafat)award et al, I wasn't aware that any adults took the Nobels seriously. History will not be kind to these Marjoe Gortner disciples.
An Inconvenient Truth has just surfaced in the English High Court. The UK government has recently donated 'free' copies of Mr Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth to all High Schools in UK " for educational, science teaching purposes".
The father of a 15 year old student has objected to his son watching this film on the grounds that it is not teaching science but is instead mere political propoganda. In fact, this guy objected so much he sued the school, hence the case in the High Court.
The verdict came in today - the Judge hearing the case ruled that, indeed this heap of hooey IS mere propoganda and is very short on scientific 'facts' and should NOT be used for educational purposes in a state school.
Thought I should cheer my American friends up!
