Living Stations of the Cross
Though it seems to me to look more like Night of the Living Dead Stations of the Cross. [Via Gillibrand]
Posted by Jeff Miller at September 30, 2006 10:06 AM | TrackBackThat's pretty cool. How is this different than the other passion plays that have been performed for centuries?
Or are you critizing the artistic quality of the performance?
Posted by Tony email at September 30, 2006 11:11 AMDid you click on the other link? Liturgical dancers and children washing the feet of women for Holy Thursday. I don't know what is scarier!
Posted by Angela email at September 30, 2006 11:45 AMWow, that was rather lame.
Surprised Robert Smith or Marylin Manson wasn't there to provide music.
(The beautiful people, the beautiful people ...) NOT! LOL.

Posted by Dean Steinlage email at September 30, 2006 11:52 AMStill not as cool as the live Ways of the Cross in the Philippines, where the guy portraying Jesus actually gets nailed to the Cross.

Now *that* is POD.
Posted by Han email at September 30, 2006 12:51 PMThis just proves what I already knew in high school: drama club kids are losers.
Posted by Rob email at September 30, 2006 5:24 PMRob - I take high offense to the term "drama club kids" - we were Green Room People!!!
Posted by Angela email at September 30, 2006 8:11 PMCruised the entire parish website....Yikes!!!
Posted by FBP email at October 1, 2006 3:27 PMIt's the red bandanas and black eye shadow that make it look so creepy.
Before I entered the Seminary I was in a similar group. It was moving to watch and be a part of. But we didn't wear those creepy red bandanas.
The white face-paint represents death to self, that tiny red dot on their cheek represents Christ's blood out-poured. As for what the red bandanas and eyeshadow mean? You got me.
Posted by Pio Magnus email at October 1, 2006 11:24 PMHey, it could be worse. At least they're actually performing some sort of Passion Play. Most people their age don't even know what one is- heck, most people of ANY age would be simply confused by the mere word "Passion" in connection with such a bloody event.
