I'm surprised that the article didn't include that the dorm rooms do not have telephones, either; there are shared phones in the common areas. (but w/ cell phones these days...)
And no TV? Is that really a problem? DVDs on laptops! And there are several TV rooms on campus.
Trust me: no intervisitation is a good thing! I transferred from a large, secular school w/ co-ed bathrooms; no intervisitation was a relief!
Posted by s email at June 30, 2006 9:42 PMGosh....I went to Marquette....home of Daniel Maguire, hardly a stronghold of orthodoxy. If offering multiple Masses and daily confession (except Sunday) makes a university one of those scary "conservative" ones, I guess Marquette is too!
