OK, color me stupid, but the only one I don't get is the Dogma one. Why is Dogma anything like a crumbling cliff edge?

A sign warning you about a cliff keeps you from falling off the cliff. A dogma also is a truth that tells us a limit that if we ignore will cause us to fall.
