Rome Depot

I have a new parody page up here.

Credit goes to RC of Catholic Light for emailing me with the idea for a parody along this line.

My previous parody page called Avazon.com can be found here.

Didn't care for the Jesus hammer. BTW, it's prie-dieu.

Hi, Fr. Steve-

Great site; and as Mary said, it's prie-dieu. ;)

But I'd like to request that your store carry a few items:

1) The Church Architect's Compass - something that points towards liturgical East.

2) Lavabo(tm) Brand Hand Soap - Fresh Lemon Scent - For special use in getting oils off of the hands

3) A large-scale thurible, maybe something like a smoke machine, that can fill a room, nave, or the Grand Canyon with visible prayers!

Please let me know on product availability.

Thanks!

Beautiful! As one who has spent far more time at the ol' Home Depot (duct tape DOES tend to go quickly, doesn't it?) I deeply appreciated this and the laughter it brought me.

Another great one, Jeff!

As a seller of used Catholic books and church goods, I am all excited about the possibilities. I can hardly wait till some of these items begin showing up in the lots we buy from churches so we can stock them in our shop. Not sure where we will put the pope-mobile forklift, but we will make room somewhere. The thurible and holy water sprayer are just what we need. I know our customers would love them. People are always saying to us, "Yes, that is a nice holy water sprinkler, but so wimpy. Don't you have anything really serious?" Sell a lot so that eventually they will wind up second-hand with us.

I need to know the history of a cross I recently bought in Rome: it has the Px symbol with alpha and omega on each side.
I was told it was the Pope's cross???
what does that mean? when was it
designated such? Thanks very much!

Could you install a tv camera on the ostensorium, mostrance or custody? this is good for paranoics and for those that beleive that the eye of God is always watching!
