I wonder if iconoclasts can choose a blank screen? Actually some of the screen shots in the Gallery Tour are rather nice. This is no substitute before praying before the Blessed Sacrament, but can be a nice reminder towards prayer.

As both a Catholic and a geek, this picture made me laugh. Pick up your USB stick daily and download me. I wonder if they had tested a combination USB stick and Holy Water font but had problems with it shorting out.

This software is available for both the Mac and PC and they have a free version for download. The free version quits automatically after ten minutes. This is much like the Apostles at the Garden of Gethsemane. Can you not stay with me for one hour?

I downloaded the free version to check it out. It appears to have a Gnostic interface. You have to have hidden knowledge to set the options. But after playing around with it I finally found the hidden options panel in the bottom right corner. This lets you change the look of the image and the altar. You can place additional crucifixes statues, flowers, and candles on the altar. One cool option is that you can set the image to appear that the lighting is from a flickering candle.

Now if only I could set options in my own prayer life. It would be nice to set contrition to maximum and distraction to zero at least once. It also would be nice if we could drag sins and faults to the Recycle Bin, oh wait, that is what we have confession for.
