NARAL's Poster Competition

Otto-da-Fe offers some posters for NARAL's poster competition that were not part of their mix.

I had also done some in the past for a Banned Parenthood competition.

You reminded me--I just updated my post to acknowledge my inspiration (inspiration...yes, that'll do). Mr. Lams's posters will not load, unfortunately, so I can't check to see whether I've unconsciously plagiarized him.

I remember that Victor did use the Rosie the Riveter poster for one of his posters. I think he broke the link because too many people were linking directly to his server.

I've accordingly altered Rosie. You will now find on Rosie's muscular form the wizened head of Kate Michelman. She would do the same for me.

Ok, these were some of the funniest posters I have ever seen, you ingenious and clever men. I hope you were serious about having submitted them to Planned Parenthood.

Due to popular demand, I've relinked all seven of my PP 30th Anniversary Posters. Start here for the first one and then scroll down to Thursday, December 05, 2002.

Victor,

I am glad you relinked them.

Christine,

I did submit my poster to them. I never got any reply. Not even a thanks.

Mr. Lams,

Thank you for re-posting, and my sincerest apologies for regurgitating your Rosie. (Ugh--what a sentence.)

And I did submit mine to NARAL, but haven't heard anything. Maybe they'll be in the running for the next contest.

Otto
