Old Time Lit-ur-gy

By Bob Sedevacantist

Just take those old missels off the shelf
I'll sit and pray to 'em by myself
Today's music and me don't agree
I like that old time Lit-ur-gy
Don't try to take me to pentecostal
It is all to me just such a bore
In ten minutes I'll be late for the door
I like that old time Lit-ur-gy

Still like that old time Lit-ur-gy
That kind of Mass just soothes the soul
I reminisce, before OCP chicanery
With that old time Lit-ur-gy
Won't go to hear music that has no heart
I'd rather hear some chant or Wolfgang Mozart
There's only sure way to get me to see
Start praying old time Lit-ur-gy
One with a relic, and don't ask me to chill
Say I'm traditional, say I'm over the hill
Today' Mass your not down on your knees
I like that old time Lit-ur-gy

Still like that old time Lit-ur-gy
That kind of Mass just soothes the soul
I reminisce, before OCP chicanery
With that old time Lit-ur-gy
